Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A?
Cat6 supports 10GbE over short runs (up to ~55m), while Cat6A is fully rated for 10GbE across the full 100m channel and offers better resistance to alien crosstalk. For new commercial and data centre installs we typically recommend Cat6A for future-proofing.
Do you provide Fluke test certification on every installation?
Yes. Every link we install is tested with a Fluke DSX-series tester and you receive full certification results to ISO/IEC 11801, along with as-built documentation, as part of the handover pack.
What areas of the UK do you cover?
We cover the whole of the UK — from London and the South East to the Midlands, the North, Scotland and Wales. For larger or framework projects we mobilise teams nationally.
